DIY Trilla: Katy Perry Inspired
Hey guys! Omg, there’s a cunnt video that just dropped, and I am pretty sure you guys saw it! How are we loving the new, Katy Perry music video “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J?!! Uh-huh honey ^~^
Before anything, whether you like the words of the song or not, lets keep it trill: the beat alone was good enough for me, which is what drew my attention to the song. Then, I was all “Team K.Perry!” to finally see the visuals where, Katy Channel’s her inner “Memphis- Egyptian Goddess” persona that was demonstrated in a really cool modern way. For the most part, I really enjoyed how the concepts where from our past history, yet in between scenes the director added portrayals of current lifestyles’ being represented from different social groups- one being the different nail art manicures Katy wore. (Decode the social groups: Go look at the official video below!!)
In retrospect to my new , Katy Perry “Dark Horse” attraction, below is a video of how you can trick your claws out, if you intent on turning your inspiration physical, lol!! (Shout out to, HelloMaphie for this!) :

Cunnt Claws Nail’d: Kawaii Treatment
Kawaii style nail art on the backdrop of a painting that happens to be one of my favorite 1960’s musical band- The Beatles!! Can you say, ”disunited connection” between the two artful imagery? Lol… Have to give it to my “Kawaii Nail God”, Tracy Lok (Tracy Kawaii) for giving me the intricate bling’d out manicure of my life!
To speak more on the procedural steps, Tracy added a marble-like base coat using gel polish. Afterwards, she then applied eccentrically the embellishments that mixed in ranges of; studs, pearls, designer logos and a beautiful bow, which was not properly justified from the images shown. The main outlooks were a gunmetal color and gold appearance, which quickly turn out to be a dazzling hand party! (I wasn’t ready!!!)

Artist HIGHlight: Marlene Rockets [Anti-Valentines Day]
Roses are red, violets Are blue…Blaaah, Blaah, Blah!!!! (Sound of reck turntable) Happy Valentines Day everyone!!! As some embrace this day in retrospect to finding true love, here at Cunnt Claws we are seriously lovesick and smitten to receive an over-the-top invitation from both love-rebellion and “Artist HIGHlight” nail artist, Marlene Rockets today. Having unrestricted creative control of the art that is seen on these nail sets, Marlene Rockets expresses visual emotions that are courageously self-explanatory, which is encourage here at Cunnt Claws to help push artist creativity realms that are usually hidden deep, deep, deep in the subconscious.

For me as a conceptual nail art blogger, I do indeed get bored occasionally seeing the same type of nail designs created over and over again. So, when Tish exposed the her V-Day creations to me, I was a little concern about the message that might be visually interpreted (Omg, such vulgar words and wait!… is that nail porn?!!). However, the vital goal here is to stay true to what the entire, Cunnt Claws movement is visually about: Representing, silently outspoken nails. Nonetheless, Marlene Rockets did a whimsical job at representing that (Australia staaand-up, you guys know how to leave a bish’ speechless, omg!) What do you guys feel about these nail sets?
