Cunnt Claws: Mix’d Patterns

Hi guys!!!! It’s the holidays, and I really should be having fun with all the fabulous nail art motifs . However, as always- I choose the unorthodox way, and went totally left with my designs! :

My inspirations/ What you see:

Negative Spacing: Tried it for the first time when nail artist, Tracy Kawii did my nails and was hooked ever since. Also, negative spacing is a really good look for someone who cannot have intense nail art prints on their nails. The spaces that are negative can be molded into any shape, size and can be very subtle nonetheless depending on the choice of nail polish.

Typography: Huge fan of penmanship, and I am forever tagging something up.

Caviar Studs: These are great for a 3-d effect, and I love the way they feel when I am in deep thoughts.

Female gender symbol: Feministic state of mind.

Seasonal Claws

Happy Holidays everyone!! New holiday, means new set of nail designs!! ( Yes Gawd!!!) Nail artist from all different realm of the map bought there, A-Game for the holidays and I wasn’t sure if I was more impress or excited about it the entire sets. You be the judge:

For the most, there was a recurrence in the usual “Christmas Tree” design, but what really caught our eyes were the trending design of the “Tree-lights” (Lovvve). Have to favor the, tree lights because it really exudes festivity being that we are currently in between holidays and you can add more than one color to a single nail (The more the merrier!). To balance out all your fancy holiday ensemble, here’s your plus one token to over exaggerate your claws with sparkles, colors, and texture!

Rad Nails Featuring: Ria Nailz & Sleign Bells

Once again, adding to the growing list of DIY nail art goodies featured here on the, Cunnt Claws’ website- we could’nt be more stoked to present you with yet another yummy treat! (Hint…hint: just in time for the holidays).

Stimulating nothing but desire: Brooklyn native, Ria Lopez (Ria Nailz) teams up with American pop star, Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells to give us some fun printed nail art wrap exclusively for New York’s nail art brand, Rad Nails. Here to represent the Bitter Rival nails wraps, nail artist Ria Lopez chats with us:

Give us the inside scoop that stem the collaboration between you and Rad Nails?

The collaboration came about, because Alexis and I were discussing what would be a good way to give women something more then just a t-shirt at their Sleigh Bells shows. We felt like it would be cool to have something different specifically for women, and what better way then nail wraps!

Freaking love the complementary colors of the, pink and yellow color coordination. Individually, which single nail design is your favorite?

I don’t have a single favorite. Alexis and I designed them with all of them being our favorites!

Describe your signature nail art style? And how did these sets of nail wraps represent that?

The nail wraps were inspired by, Sleigh Bells album cover artwork- which is two bad ass guitars; one pink and one yellow with tiger stripes. I don’t think I have a signature nail art style but I do try to make some; tuff, fun, badass nails and these nail wraps definitely represented that.
